Wooden mitre box 300mm with back saw.
A mitre box is a cutting jig used in carpentry.
It takes the form of a U-shaped profile, made of wood, metal or plastic, into which mitre saw holes have been cut at various angles: usually 90° and 45°. By sliding the backsaw into one of the notches, a strip, bar or tube placed in the profile can be cut precisely.
